CC41 was the utility scheme introduced by the government during the 1940s (1941-1952) to control consumption and production of clothing and furniture goods during shortages caused by WW2. CC standing for Civilian Clothing and 41 being the date the scheme was introduced and started.
Fine example of a period Gents shirt of the 1940s, features doubled french cuff, collarless neck with button hole to add detachable collar and lengthy style cut to wear up or down across styles and functions.
